Interactive Media Fund
Effective from March 2012, administration of the Interactive Media Fund (IMF) was transferred to Screen NSW. For more information about the Fund, please visit the Screen NSW website.
The Interactive Media Fund supports the creation of new digital content. The fund is designed for businesses and for commercially oriented projects that are destined for distribution on internet, wireless, mobile or other emerging platforms or devices.
The IMF focuses on interactive content, a key element in digital innovation with the ability to benefit other sectors such as health, finance and education. It has received strong endorsement from peak bodies including the Games Developers Association of Australia, the Independent Games Developers Association, and the Screen Producers Association of Australia.
The IMF will provide support at various stages from early stage development up to completion of a functioning prototype or to take a market ready project into production. It also assists NSW businesses to attend key international conferences such as the Games Developers Conference in San Francisco.

Collaborative Solutions Program
Program Overview
The Collaborative Solutions Program was developed by the NSW Government and is managed by NSW Trade & Investment.It supports industry to develop innovative and compelling ICT-enabled solutions in key sectors that demonstrate the benefits of the digital economy. It focuses on opportunities, challenges and changing business models brought about by emerging technologies such as mobile computing, cloud computing, and ubiquitous high-speed broadband. It does this by awarding incentive grants for the development and piloting of these new solutions.

StartupHouse
About StartupHouse
It is a new co-working studio where, from February 2012, entrepreneurs can join the large and diverse community of Startups in Silicon Valley that offers a 36,000 sq ft (3,344 m2) facility which has premium office space, a co-working space, a cafe and a hostel.The location is strategically at 880 Harrison St in the Soma district of San Francisco, which is now considered the new centre of Silicon Valley.
The Process:
Just complete the online application form on the ATS website.
An ATS team Commercialisation Manager will review the funding applications. If you are selected for funding you will receive a written offer. Once a startup has been awarded funding approval under the program they can then utilise and pay for use of the StartupHouse facility, then claim a rebate from the program.
The rebate of up to 50 per cent of expenses incurred (capped at AUD1,250) will be processed following the provision of a report on the activity and provision of proof of your payment to StartupHouse.
Eligibility
Generally the program is available for NSW based startups with high growth potential. If you are unsure about you eligibility or would like to discuss the program please call or email.

Innovation and Research
TechVouchers provides opportunities for small and medium enterprises (SMEs) to create research collaborations with public sector research organisations to help their business become more innovative and competitive.It benefits both industry and the public research sector by assisting SMEs with seed funding of up to $15,000 to help them engage with the NSW public research community and access research equipment and technical expertise.
To apply for a TechVoucher, businesses need to propose a project which will significantly benefit from a partnership with a research organisation – whether it is for further research, clinical trials or access to scientific equipment to support product development.

Regional-Communities
Communities benefit from a number of NSW Trade & Investment programs that encourage community economic development by assisting communities with marketing and promotion, planning workshops, and business development projects. The Department assists community/regional development organisations undertake planning activities and implement projects which have broad based local support and the potential to generate economic benefits.
Applications for assistance can be submitted by local councils, incorporated associations including business, industry and community organisations and regional development organisations including Regional Development Australia committees.
